#NotWaiting is a bold, people-powered campaign under the Opportunity Africa initiative, designed to spotlight what’s already working across the continent. It shines a light on the individuals, businesses, ideas and communities actively building Africa’s future, making progress visible and impossible to ignore.

This is not a campaign about waiting: for permission, validation or rescue. Africa is already in motion. #NotWaiting simply amplifies that reality.

At its heart, the campaign is driven by storytelling. Every month on the 25th, we will share real stories of innovation, opportunity and progress.

Joining #NotWaiting means taking a stand. It’s a public declaration: “I’m part of the people changing how Africa is seen.” It’s about shifting perceptions from the inside out, by consistently showing what’s working.
